Meribel is one of several tourist towns in the famous "Three Valleys", a system of connected ski areas.
Méribel is a small town built up mainly with traditional Alpine style hotels. Hotels are built from logs of wood or other materials. But they all similar with each other and do not break the same style. The town is small, practically it is one street along which a free bus travels.
There are no problems with ski equipment rental in Meribel. There are also many ski schools in the city.
Ski slopes are perfect. There are many of them and they are wide. There is an opportunity to climb the pass and slide down to the famous Courchevel.
There are many routes available, and they are different.
It's worth taking the time to find what you really like.
